Each service is tested with a real, read-only request, and its response time is recorded. A service is marked slow when it takes longer than 2.5 seconds, and an outage when it does not respond within 6 seconds. Checks are recorded every few minutes, and days are shown in UTC. The checks only confirm each service answers — they never look at the contents of anyone’s business records.
